Description (last modified by tmark)

With the advent of 4239, there are now "drop" schema scripts for both MySQL and Postgresql. It might be handy to add a "drop tables/schema" command to kea-admin. Note the drop scripts only drop the schema content created by the create scripts, (e.g tables, functions, triggers), they do not delete the database itself.

Do we really need this? if we add support for drop database, people will soon request for add database capability, just to keep parity. I believe our lease-init command does not create the db and actually expects it to already be there. This cleverly leaves the mundane aspects of the creation (managing privileges, write rights, assuring name uniqueness etc.) to the user. So I'm somewhat tempted to not do drop database. But I'm open to be convinced otherwise.
