Description

Most current modules that use writable data sources are written in python, so we need python support for our datasource API, similar to the python wrappers for libdns++.

Forgot to mention it, but this is also a subset of ticket #232

  • Owner changed from jelte to UnAssigned
  • Status changed from new to reviewing
  • Type changed from defect to enhancement

Ok, I think this is ready for review.

One note; there is one possible efficiency improvement; for almost all calls this code needs to get type objects (for checking arguments). Perhaps it is more efficient to get these once on import. But I don't think such an improvement (if it helps at all) has a high priority.

(This branch is branches off branches/trac374, not trunk, should you use reintegrate to make review diffs)

  • Owner changed from UnAssigned to jelte
  • Status changed from reviewing to accepted

Taking this out of the open review queue for now (depends on as-of-yet undecided changes to #374)

  • Owner changed from jelte to UnAssigned
  • Status changed from accepted to assigned

Making it UnAssigned? (note that this still depends on whether #374 needs any change, in which case this branch will also need to be updated before it is reviewable)
