I guess this was introduced by b22d5d37ee0a82063d664006c849402253c0bbfb for #3461.

Multiple build systems unittests are failing, like:

[ RUN      ] MemorySegmentLocal.TestTooMuchMemory Failure
Expected: segment->allocate(0x7fffffffL) throws an exception of type bad_alloc.
  Actual: it throws nothing.
[  FAILED  ] MemorySegmentLocal.TestTooMuchMemory (20260 ms)

Keeping this ticket open since maybe test will be removed or conditionalized or improved.
