error opening /home/reed/opt/bind10-parkinglot/share/bind/auth.spec: No such file or directory

This appears to be repeated for a long time.

(I know what my problem is and I commit a fix for that but doesn't solve loop problem if can't find the spec.)

Hm... clearly the function should return an error or raise an exception at some point.

err, the process does exit afaik, it's bob that keeps restarting it (not too sure what the exit code is, should we have bob check that?)

Whoops, my mistake. I thought that the boss process was looping for some reason, but it is the auth server exiting.

This is already a TODO item for the boss process to have "mandatory" startup programs and exit if they are not there.

Plus a TODO item for having a back-off algorithm for processes that keep dying.

I'm going to close this ticket because these are already TODO items.
