Description (last modified by wlodekwencel)

I'm getting this error:
Error: failed to open sockets after server reconfiguration: Failed to bind socket 8 to fe80::a00:27ff:fe11:c767/port=547

Unfortunately I can't find any pattern, it seems to occur randomly in process of starting/stopping/configuration Kea. I get it 2-5 times in 300 test set (at least one start, configuration and stop process in one test) that makes 2-5 errors in 900 commits in bindctl.

I found that on branch related to ticked #3074.

After little updates to Forge I'm able to perform BIND10 logs with that error.
Logger configuration:
name *
severity DEBUG
debuglvl 99

This error DOES NOT occur on Jenkins VMs

  • Milestone changed from DHCP-QA Defects to DHCP-Kea0.9-alpha
  • Resolution set to fixed
  • Status changed from new to closed

Error occurred only on Ubuntu 13.04 64 (never on debian7 64). But on actual code after 1300 tests (4 commits on each test) I didn't get that error (also on ubuntu 13.04 64). We can assume that this error is fixed.
