looks like it is one case of wrong srcdir vs builddir, and a number of files that seem to be configure-generated for no reason.

Already have a fix, but need a ticket number to create a branch :)

turns out make distcheck does not fail because the offending files are included in the tarball. This branch does not fix that, but it does fix the make check issues if you build in a separate dir yourself.

I tested this with a normal build and install and the b10-stats-httpd works good.
